Editorial policy
Bold Sports Spotlight aims to make sport easier to understand without pretending that every detail is settled or every game is the same. We write with care, explain our reasoning and take responsibility for correcting errors.
Accuracy and context
We check factual claims against appropriate, available sources and distinguish established information from interpretation. Rules and formats can vary between sports, competitions and levels of play, so we describe the context when it matters and avoid presenting one version as universal. We do not claim first-hand testing or research we have not carried out.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not to favour a commercial partner or a particular sporting interest. We consider relevant conflicts when planning or preparing coverage and do not promise positive treatment in return for support.
Corrections
If a factual error is brought to our attention, we review it and correct it when warranted. Significant changes should be made clear in the affected material, so readers can understand what changed. Readers can send correction requests through the Contact page.
Partnerships and illustrations
Paid, sponsored or partner-supported material is labelled clearly as such and kept distinct from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when that is the case, the image is identified so readers are not left to mistake an illustration for documentary photography.
